Security and Privacy

This is an extension of WISOFT Privacy Policy for Slack Connector for LiveChat. Please review our Company's Privacy Policy first before reading this document.

The following information needs to be interpreted as part of an appropriate section ("Information we Collect and Receive → Customer Data → Content from LiveChat Services") from WISOFT Privacy Policy:

Slack Connector for LiveChat is using LiveChat API to communicate with your LiveChat instance. It does so on behalf of current logged in user. Communicating with Slack is carried out via Slack API using OAuth authentication. We do not store any information taken out from either LiveChat or Slack externally on our backend except for user's access token and information about connected channels.

"Access token" is required to access Slack API on behalf of the user and we receive it during the "Connect with Slack" procedure. At least one LiveChat user account must be linked with Slack in order for Slack Connector to work. Every agent can tailor the notifications they receive.

Any user can revoke their Slack access token at any time, using this link. Unfortunately, this can't be done directly from Jira as the Slack API does not provide such feature at the moment.
